McFLY Tour 2009: WOLVERHAMPTON

Announcement: Ok these blogs aren't going to have any pictures in them :( this site is really annoying for adding pictures into blogs, I've just been trying for the last hour and its just getting frustrating now. I'll add them in an extra Blog

So here I go with my tour blogging again haha. I have a feeling I'm not going to get as many readers this time though :( but if you do read please comment :D

I'm doing 1 less date as last tour BOO. I did 5 on the Radio:ACTIVE tour and I'm only 4 this time...due to money, loosing my job and the lack of interesting cities.
So on we go again with fun times, bad clothes and great friends...

Monday April 20th
So I awake to the awful sound of my alarm but instead of moaning about getting up, this time I was willing to because of excitement that was ahead of me ;)
My mum was kindly taking me to the bus station where
e my coach left at 9:40, which I made just about haha.
It wasn't a coach though, it was a double decker bus D: BUT I got a top front row seat AND was next to a REALLY fit guy...so I wasn't complaining ;)
Megabus' are filled with a l
ot of hot guys actually, so I would advise them ;)
When we reached the Oxford stop this girl from Texas came and sat next to me so I got talking to her for the rest of the journey which was really interesting. She was telling me about all her backpacking around Europe and how she loved England and didn't wan
na go home :') hahaha. I was like 'at least you have nice weather' however It was actually
a really nice day last monday :')
We stopped at this service station so people could stretch their legs and go to the toilet, but I stayed on because A, I'd be worried the bus would leave without me and B, I wanted to see the bus will up with petrol cause I've never seen a bus to that before LOL. And it was funny cause the bus driver didn't know how it worked LOOOLLLL. Btw megabus staff are the nicest people :') I haven't met one bad yet haha!
In the end the driver figured it out and we got back on the road and shortly arrived at Birmingham where I met Lauren. On the way to Lauren house we had the windows down with the Room on the Third Floor album blaring out hah
a it was so nice and summery :') and I got a good video of us singing our hearts out to Saturday Night XD
We picked Meghan up from school on the way to Lauren's and had some more fun singing times.
I think we left Lauren's at about half 5 to head over to Wolvohampton to try and catch mcfly as they were leaving from rehearsal day. We picked Liz up on the way and had a blast out to mcfly and some greeby songs :')
We arrived at Wolvohampton Civic hall about 30 mins later and parked up. It must have been about 6 o clock by now, I think. We walked around for a bit and then just sat on the pavement, with dodgey tramps coming up to us and Big Issue sellers HA :')
So anyway we got bored of sitting down so went for another walk. There was a free good parking space available so Lauren and Meghan quickly went and got the car whilst me and Liz guard the space lol :') Which we managed to do pretty well, after speaking to this guy about his car he hated, haha it was a pretty dodgey color, even though I was like 'it's really nice :D' LOL!
Then as soon as Lauren parked up, she released she needed petrol :') so this time me and her went and searched for a petrol station, and each time Meghan phoned me my heart jumped incase mcfly had come out and we weren't there D:! But luckily they hadnt, and we filled up and got back in no time.
There was quite a few fans at Wolvohampton this day, some campers and some just doing what we were doing haha. When me and Lauren got back from getting petrol Mcfly started to sound check again and we heard them doing their cover song and Transylvania.
And of course we had our ears pressed up against the doors listening in :')
I'm not sure when it was when mcfly did actually come out but they did, and got mobbed :') haha it was cool though that they were stopping for pictures and not being moody.
Lauren and Liz got pics with all them, Megahn got one with Tom and Harry and I wasn't bothered about getting pictures, but there was a chance to get one with Harry so I did haha.
I remember walking near Dougie intending to get a picture with him, but then I saw he was pulling stupid face's in everyone's pictures so though 'stuff you I wont bother' haha :')
Oh yeah and I was so happy to see Tommy again after all these months :') LOL!
So then Mcfly were saying bye to everyone and getting on their tour bus, so we legged it to Lauren's car, preparing to follow them again ;) Oh and that same mini was there again following them HA :'')
This time we over took them a few times hahaha was funny :') Dougie was sat in the front next to the driver at some point as well LOL! One of the times when we over took them we needed to get back behind them, ovbviousey, so Lauren pulled into this petrol station then as soon as the bus drove by, pulled straight back out hahaha :'') and I love it when the bus changes lane's and the other cars do as well :') hahaha classic!
We followed them back to Birmingham where they were staying, so Lauren pulled up along with the other followers and I didn't really know what we had in mind to do, but the girls in the car in front got out, so I just naturally did and then lauren drove off LMFAOOOOO leaving me on my own :''') Not for long though cause Meghan came out shortly and ran over to me, but lauren couldn't park anywhere so had to keep driving around the hotel.
All Meghan wanted was a photo with Danny, so we waited for him to get off the bus, but before he did Tom did so I took the opportunity to get a UGLY photo with him, and ask him to follow me on twitter LOL but he hasn't yet BASTARD! Then Danny got off so I asked if Meghan could have a photo with him and ovbs he said yes and pulled the most adorable smile and megahn got a loverly photo :D And the whole time me and Meghan where out there I kept hearing someone shouting something......
So Meghan got what we wanted, Tom had gone inside followed by Danny, Harry and Dougie where outside smoking so me and Meghan just ran back to Lauren's car, where Lauren and Liz then told us they had been driving around the hotel shouting 'GET IN THERE MEGHAN OAKLEY' and the last thing they shouted as me and Meghan was leaving was 'DOUGIE POYNTER HAS A MASSIVE COCK' LMAOAOAOAODJKFNKGNJKDFNG which he heard LOLLL you should have shouted 'dougie poynter has a tiny cock' that would have been even funnier :'')
We attempted to drive round the hotel once more to shout stuff but they had gone inside :'(
So we just drove back to Lauren's.
So that was that day, it was so good and a great way to start tour off! Now we just had the concert to come....

Tuesday 21st April
Lauren and Meghan had school and college and left me in bed, but supriseingly I still got up early at 10:30 and just went on the internet haha.
Lauren came back at about half 1 but had to go back into college at 2 for a photoshoot, so I joined her and watched her model ;)
After that we picked Meghan up from school again and headed back to Lauren's to get ready for the gig.
We left for Wolverhampton again at the same time, picking Liz up on the way.
Liz had brought this bra along with her and written stuff allover to chuck in the tour bus :') so meghan was adding to it the whole 'journey' up there haha :')
We arrived and parked in the multi storey, close to the exit to get out fast haha. There was tons of people there by now all queuing up, the queue going everywhere :')
We were waiting around a bit whilst the queue was going in, hoping someone would come of for a fag but know one did, or we got bored to quick and went straight in haha :')
We got in and the support had just come on, it was some girl...Didn't catch her name...it's not important :')
So we waited for her to come off, whilst checking twitter all the time and Tom had posted a few things, but I forgot what. She came off at about 8:15 so we only had about half an hour to wait now ;) I was gutted there was no 'intro song' (you no like time of your life, baywatch theme ect..) Cause I look forward to knowing what it would be :')
But anyway BOOOOM mcfly came out with the SAME intro as last tour....I was not impressed! Sorry guys but come on you could have been a bit more different! Same set, same music, same two first songs. The only difference in the set is some of the songs are in different order and they play 2 new ones. I wish they would play some of there old stuff they NEVER play. First off GET RID OF ROOM ON THE THIRD FLOOR, omg boooooooooooring! It wasn't a 'hit' I believe got to about no.5 *goes to google it* yep it went in at no.5 which is nothing amazing really considering they have had like 7 no.1's. They only play it cause they like it when we go 'NA NA NA NAAAAA' but nevertheless i still sing my heart out to it, but I would prefer it if they replaced it with a better song ANYWAY END OF RANT! lol sorry.
SO YEAH bit gutted about the set list and what not BUT its mcfly so anything is amazing and fun. The pizza thing was hilarious though! Thats a night that pizza dude wont forgot :')
Oh and when everyone booed the girls that went on stage, come on guys thats well harsh :') Dont be bitter now.
I'm so glad they played down goes another one though, SO GLAD! And their cover is pretty funky to! (I'm trying not to reveal spoilers but I've pretty much said everything, sorry :()
So after the show, well actually we left during 5 colours, we legged it out, me singing my heart out whilst still outside causing me to run across the road, on my own, still shouting 'DO DO DO DO DOOOOH' ending up with everyone looking at me and me looking like a total doucebag!
I ran back over the road, pretending nothing had happened, and we ran to the tour bus so Liz could through the bra into the tour bus, which she succeeded ;) Whilst I was having a loverly conversation with the tour bus driver.
So we then ran back over to the carpark and jumped into Lauren's car.
We didn't follow them this time, just drove straight to the hotel as we knew where it was now.
As we pulled up to the hotel the bus was just pulling away so we were like NOOOOO, cause thats means mcfly have gone in. But we parked up and quickly ran round to the hotel.
As we walked past the entrance I saw tom by the lifts look at us so I just hung my head. I kept walking down though, but then I heard meghan say danny was still in foray, but I kept walking until I noticed you had stopped LOL and were at the window pointing your finger telling danny to come outside, who by the way was topless underneath his jumper he had unzipped HE LOOKED FIT! So after him miming to us saying he couldn't come out cause he was kinda topless, he gave up and said 2 minuets to us, which we were all like WOOOOOO!
So we waited....
and waited...
and waited some more...
and sat down on the pavement and waited...
I was lent up against this lampost looking like a total prossy when I noticed someone out of mcflys crew was miming something to me on the other-side of the window, i think he was saying something like 'what are you doing' so i was like 'get danny' and then he came out and came over to me and i asked him where danny was and he said he had gone to bed, and i was like 'but he told us he would come out' and he was like 'oh did he' and then he just asked me questions like where i came from and stuff haha, then he got in his car and drove off somewhere.
So then we waited a bit more, like we waited about 40 mins but dicked jones never came out, so we just went home.

Wednesday 22nd April
Day for me to go home booo. It has been an eventful few days and an excellent gig off for tour. But that wasn't it yet ;)
My coach was at 2 but Lauren had college so dropped me off in Birmingham at about 10 am. I met Claire who we were with at her hotel which was a 5 minuet walk from mcflys hotel ;)
So of course we went to their hotel and just waited for something to happen. We knew Tom was in a starbucks somewhere, thanks to the amazing twitter, so we knew he would be heading back to the hotel soon. We saw Tommy walking up from somewhere, and we only waited about 50 minuets until Tom came wondering up, looking hot. We nearly missed him though cause we were talking so much LOL. But luckily Claire saw him and quickly grabbed his attention. We went over to him and had a conversation about the show, starbucks and his sunglasses lol and then got pics.
So we were happy we hadnt just wasted time for nothing, and Claire's train back to Scotland was at 12 so Tom timed coming back just right for us ;)
I left Claire at the train station to go and kill 2 hours on my own. I had no idea where the hell I was, but I saw a topshop and got lost in there for about half an hour haha.
Then I wandered around and found the Selfridges so I was like OOOOH HELLO. I was thirsty so sat down with a starbucks, but then time was getting ahead of me and I had NO idea how to get from there to my bus stop, so had the rest of my drink and headed off.
After asking 4 people where to go I final found the bus stop, with enough time as well.
My bus arrived and I was happy I got a window seat haha.
So I sat down with my ipod and was extremely pleased with how the last 3 days had been.
Now just for the others!
Portsmouth up next, and my god...am I excited for that :D!!!!
